Andy MacKay

Andy MacKay founded Maccor with a singular goal: build the best battery testing systems available and support them comprehensively. Under his leadership, Maccor became a recognized pioneer in automated battery and cell test equipment, serving customers worldwide across research, manufacturing, quality control, and energy storage applications.
Andy continues to guide the company's long-range vision, helping ensure Maccor remains focused on technical excellence, customer support, and durable growth.
Senior Vice Presidents
Promoted in March 2025, three long-serving Maccor veterans now lead the company's operations, manufacturing, and global commercial functions.
Brian leads all operations at Maccor's corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A 34-year veteran of the company, he progressed through Maccor's manufacturing organisation to become Director of Manufacturing & Quality Assurance before his 2025 promotion. His technical expertise and deep institutional knowledge have been instrumental in optimising production efficiency and maintaining the precision standards that Maccor's equipment is known for worldwide.
Before Maccor, Brian served as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist in the U.S. Air Force — a background that shaped his disciplined approach to process integrity and operational accountability. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University.
Jon oversees operations at Maccor's satellite locations, driving the company's vision and global expansion. During his 17 years at Maccor he demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic insight, most notably as Customer Support Manager for the Western USA region where he built and scaled Maccor's customer support operation in San Jose, California into a thriving regional hub.
In his SVP role Jon is responsible for extending Maccor's operational footprint, maintaining the service quality standards that underpin Maccor's industry-leading customer relationships, and supporting the company's continued international growth.
Justin oversees Maccor's global Sales and Customer Support operations from Tulsa, Oklahoma. His 17 years at Maccor — progressing from Sales & Applications Engineer to Manager of Global Customer Support — are complemented by 13 years at Energizer Batteries, where he led teams in battery manufacturing and testing operations. That combination gives Justin a rare perspective: deep expertise in both what customers are trying to achieve with their batteries and how to test them effectively.
In his SVP role Justin is responsible for Maccor's commercial relationships worldwide, the technical applications team, and the customer support infrastructure that keeps thousands of Maccor systems running in over 60 countries. He holds a B.S. from Northwest Missouri State University.
